Gift Box Terms & Conditions

Please review the following terms carefully before purchasing a gift box. These policies help ensure a smooth and informed shopping experience.

Order Terms

Weight Restrictions Per Box

From January 1st, 2026, gift boxes cannot be purchased in the same transaction as other Forager Provisions products on the online store.
This is due to shipping requirements—gift boxes will classify as small parcels (max 2kg) and must be processed as single-item transactions.

Separating these orders also ensures that free shipping on orders over £60 is applied correctly. Free shipping can only be used once per transaction, and gift boxes are processed individually.

Ordering Multiple Gift Boxes / Recipient Delivery Addresses

If you are purchasing more than one gift box, please do so in separate transactions, the “Add Recipient Delivery Address” option will appear at the final step of the Gift Box Builder for:

1) Enter a unique delivery address for the gift box only if you are sending it directly to the recipient. This applies when you have added a personalised message to a greeting card.

2) If you choose a blank greeting card, you may leave the delivery address section empty — the gift box will be shipped to your own shipping/billing address so you can write the card yourself.

3) If a recipient address is not provided, the gift box will automatically ship to the cardholder’s shipping/billing address given at checkout.

  • This feature applies only when ordering a gift box with greeting cards with or without submitted messages.

Discount Code Terms

Gift boxes include an automatic 15% discount in the Gift Box Builder. Because of this:

  • Additional discount codes cannot be applied at Shopify checkout.

  • Gift boxes are excluded from all other discounts, including mailing list subscriber codes.

  • If you wish to use a discount code for other products, please place a separate order for those items.

If a discount code is applied to a gift box order (even when purchased with other individual products), the order will be cancelled to ensure fair pricing and system accuracy.

Gift Box Builder Returns & Exchange Policy

  • If an item arrives faulty, we will provide a full refund or exchange.

  • Products selected within a gift box cannot be swapped once the order is confirmed.

  • All gift box item returns/exchanges follow our standard returns and refund policy.

Greeting Cards

  • Greeting cards purchased through the Gift Box Builder are non-returnable due to personalised messages.

  • Greeting card designs may vary depending on stock availability. We aim to maintain a varied and consistent selection, especially during busy periods.

Gift Wrap

  • Gift wrap styles may vary depending on available stock.

  • Paper and string variations may occur, but we always ensure each individual gift box is cohesively and beautifully wrapped.
